How to manage your subscriptions and unsubscribe
You may have enjoyed some posts but were annoyed by others.
I’ve prepared instructions for how to choose which Night Light newsletters you stay subscribed to. Perhaps you have enjoyed getting a recap of weekly news in Top Five Friday and my original hard news reporting in Night Light News, but aren’t into reading my poems or personal stories and don’t have time to read my longer in-depth reporting. Or maybe you like reading what I have to say but have been annoyed by Top Five Friday or something else... You can stay subscribed to whichever you choose and unsubscribe from others.
(Last week I sent instructions on how to make sure Night Light goes to your inbox or primary tab in Gmail.)
Night Light is the main page of my publication, where the posts I put the most work into will go. This is where I will do in-depth reporting and cultural commentary, and occasional investigative reporting.
Night Light Faith - spiritual commentary
Top Five Friday - a weekly recap of important news and top media items.
Night Light News - original breaking news reports, no commentary.
Reminiscenses - personal stories and lessons learned
Poems from the Heart - my poems
Fake-Checking the Media - my unique style of fact checking that also checks the reasoning and hypocrisy of media reports.
Great Words - a collection of some of the greatest words every written or spoken.
Night Light Updates - info & updates about the Night Light publication
If you would like to get a paid subscription you can do that here. You will have access to all content. You can still unsubscribe from some newsletters.
If you have a free subscription and would like to continue getting all free posts, no need to do anything.
If you would like to unsubscribe from all or some newsletters, just scroll to the bottom of this email and look for the underlined word “Unsubscribe.” Here is a screenshot to show what you will see at the bottom of this post and where to find “Unsubscribe.” If you click on this screenshot nothing will happen. You need to find the actual link at the bottom of this post.
Click on “Unsubscribe” and you should see the following. The following is just a screenshot. Nothing will happen if you click on the screenshot. You need to find what this is showing by clicking on “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of this post:
It’s simple. Just click on “Turn off emails” next to any newsletter you don’t want to be bothered with. If you don’t ever want to receive anything from me again, click on “Turn off all emails” at the top.
Thanks for your time.
